I’m proud to share that Acquire.com has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, ranking #1,348 overall. This is our second consecutive year on the list, making the recognition especially meaningful for our team.
The Inc. 5000 recognizes private companies that have achieved exceptional revenue growth over the previous three years. For Acquire.com, being named again is more than another company milestone. It shows that our mission continues to resonate with the founders and buyers we serve.
Every acquisition represents an important decision. Founders are deciding what comes next for a business they may have spent years building, while buyers are choosing where to invest their time, capital, and experience. The trust they place in Acquire.com is what has made this growth possible.
What This Milestone Means
I started Acquire.com because buying and selling businesses was far more complicated than it needed to be. Founders often struggled to reach serious buyers, understand what their business was worth, or know what to expect after receiving an offer. Buyers needed a better way to discover credible opportunities and communicate directly with the people behind them.
Our goal was to create a simpler path between the two. Since then, Acquire.com has grown beyond a place where founders list businesses and buyers discover them. We’ve continued to build tools, data, and services that help both sides navigate the acquisition process with greater clarity and confidence.
Today, founders can choose the level of support that works for them. They can manage the process independently through our marketplace or work with our advisory team through preparation, negotiations, diligence, and closing.
Buyers can find opportunities that match their goals, review key business information, connect with founders, and move deals forward in one place. The goal has never been to generate more listings for the sake of growth. It has always been about helping more founders and buyers achieve successful outcomes.
Growth Built on Better Acquisitions
Since launching in 2020, we’ve:
- Helped close 5,000+ acquisitions
- Facilitated over $1 billion in combined transaction value
- Built a network of 500,000+ buyers
- Reached founders and buyers across 100+ countries
Those numbers demonstrate the scale of what we’ve built, but the individual deals behind them matter more. Some founders sell because they’re ready to start something new. Others want to take money off the table, find the right home for their product, or step away from a business that no longer fits their plans.
Some buyers are acquiring their first company. Others are adding a product to an existing business, entering a new market, or building a portfolio through multiple acquisitions. No two transactions are exactly alike, but every founder and buyer deserves a process that is easier to understand and navigate.
That means helping founders prepare their businesses, organize the right information, understand how buyers will evaluate them, and manage the questions that come after an offer. It also means helping buyers identify credible opportunities, evaluate potential risks, and move through each stage of a transaction with greater confidence.
Helping both sides reach the closing table remains the most important measure of our growth.
A Shared Achievement
Acquire.com may be the company named to the Inc. 5000, but this recognition belongs to everyone who helped us get here. It belongs to the founders who trusted us with businesses they spent years building and the buyers who came to Acquire.com looking for their next opportunity.
It also belongs to our team, whose work touches every stage of the acquisition experience, from product development and engineering to advisory, operations, customer support, and marketing.
Growth rarely comes from one major decision. More often, it comes from hundreds of smaller improvements: making the platform easier to use, helping a founder prepare for diligence, answering a buyer’s question, or keeping a challenging transaction moving forward. This recognition reflects all of that work.
The Work Ahead
I’m honored to see Acquire.com included in the Inc. 5000 for a second year, but there is still much more we want to accomplish.
Buying and selling a business can still feel confusing, slow, and unnecessarily difficult. Founders do not always know whether they are ready to sell, what their business may be worth, or which path makes the most sense for their goals. Buyers still need better ways to identify the right opportunities, evaluate businesses, and complete transactions without unnecessary friction.
We’ll continue building around those challenges. Our focus remains the same: make acquisitions simpler, more transparent, and more accessible while helping more founders find the right buyer for what they’ve built.
Thank you to our customers, partners, and team for making this achievement possible.
